Operations Resource Specialist

Lanter Delivery Systems is a multi-regional logistics company and a leader in overnight, unattended delivery of auto and agricultural parts from Customer's distribution centers to dealer locations. Our customers include most major U.S. automakers and agricultural equipment manufacturers including GM, Ford, Chrysler, John Deere, Cummins, Case New Holland and many more. Lanter guarantees shipments that are placed in the late afternoon will be delivered next morning by 8:00AM. Come be a part of a growing team!

This is position requires 100% travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in new business implementation projects
• Set up new facility including floor layout and preparing facility dock for business
• Train various individuals throughout the facility including operations and dock workers
• Walk Thru delivery route and customer location
• Help provide customer solutions
• Assist in driver training and assess performance
• Help develop and implement routing changes, as well as routing for transportation carrier changes
• Participate in "dry runs" with Dealers
• Provide Scanning Solutions Training
• Support restructurings, best practices/process roll-outs, and other business events
• Review facility paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be willing and available to travel extensively
• Work a flex schedule that will include working nights
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Deadline oriented with strong attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree in any field preferred
• Supply chain, transportation, or logistics experience or interest preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
