Summary As the Logistics Analyst within our Fleet Vehicles and Services division in
Bristol, IN, you will play a crucial role in logistics analysis, engineering, material flow analysis, and supply chain network modeling design. You will also be accountable for driving all aspects of material flow and presentation design at manufacturing sites for our
Utilimaster brand. Relocation assistance to the Bristol area is available for non-local candidates.

- Utilimaster – EV Walk-in Van
- Developing and executing Plan for Every Part (PFEP) strategy through data analysis and shop floor process optimization
- Creating material systems that are intuitive, scalable, and easily maintainable
- Conducting material flow, storage, and presentation analysis in support of transportation, operations, and warehousing
- Reducing costs related to logistics, inventory, and working capital; driving cost-saving initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create plans for the material lifecycle, from inbound to assembly
- Consulting with packaging engineering and sourcing departments on the packaging, standard pack(s), handling, and decanting expectations
- Interacting directly with customers and vendors to design solutions based on demand
- Providing project plans and timelines to stakeholders
- Ensuring solution sustainability while focusing on cost-effectiveness
- Providing maintenance and support services for all existing solutions
- Preparing technical and user documentation and presentations for all solutions
- Ensuring logistics solutions will meet financial goals and provide cost savings
- Transforming results into proposal documents or investments and purchases
- Resolving situations quickly, communicating the status of problems, and working with the SMEs and leaders to prioritize urgent needs and intermediate-term solutions
- Developing a deep understanding of company needs and taking actions to ensure that those needs are met
- Supporting process improvement teams and location startup efforts
- Building mutually beneficial relationships with all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
- 2+ years of Material Flow Solutions expertise including design, development, implementation, and execution
- A solid understanding of material flow concepts, supply chain, transportation, and warehousing
- Proficiency with ERP system(s), Warehouse Management System(s), and Lean Processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel as necessary to support our manufacturing facilities
- Expertise in supply chain network design tools and modeling
- Operations experience within the truck body manufacturing sector
- Experience with large automotive product assemblies with many part numbers and variables
- Versed in visual factory management, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma black belt designation
- Seasoned presentation skills and the ability to interact and provide influence and guidance
- Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Solid time management, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- The willingness to operate somewhat independently and concurrently on a range of unstructured tasks and projects under the direction of Fleet Vehicles and Services leadership
