Job description

Role and Responsibility:

-Participating in regular planning reviews and change processes and preparing data in line with changes

-Set up and provide regular reports and data relating to specific areas of the logistics process such as supplier analysis, transportation costs

-Tracking logistics trends and using the information to recommend changes

-Utilize knowledge and research methods to benchmark logistics activities and to drive best practice results

-Work together with Logistics and other appropriate staff to resolve issues as and when required

-Providing additional analytical support as and when required.

-Report against any key performance indicators.

-To support a culture of continuous improvement and work to make business and department improvements wherever possible

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in any of the following areas: material flow, warehouse design, transportation management, dedicated fleet operations, distribution centre management, materials handling, decision support systems and technology

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working across organizations at all levels.

-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, effective project planning in terms of resources, strategies, cost, and time with ability to meet project timelines.

-Experience with Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software,

-Enterprise resource planning ERP software, Analytical or scientific software, or

-Enterprise resource planning ERP software

-Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications

-Bachelor's Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics Engineering, Finance, Engineering or related field.

-An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered

-LEAN, GK, or Six Sigma Certifications a plus

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
