Job Type: Professional
- Recruit adult learners
- Provide counseling and support to adult education students
- Provide career and educational transitioning
- Conduct student orientation, assessments, and support services
- Conduct follow-up with AE students to ensure retention
- Work with the Logan Academy staff in the case management of students
- Help in the preparation and delivery of program activities
- Review and/or enter information in the computer data system for Adult Education
- Some evening/weekend work required
- Other duties as assigned
- Duties must be performed on John A. Logan campus or designated locations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related field
- Experience in adult education
- Experience working with at-risk populations or literacy
Preferred Qualifications
- Work experience with the adult education population
