The Lilian Lumber Company has been doing business in the Northern Neck of VA. for over 110 years and is seeking highly motivated, customer orientated, and knowledgeable individuals to join our team at our newly expanded Home Center in Burgess, VA.

Qualification:

• Must be able to provide a copy of an update driving record
• Must be willing to obtain a DOT physical
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Knowledge of how to handle materials safely
• Familiar with using a navigation system
• Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
• Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
• Due to local customer deliveries only a CDL is not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivery drivers have a variety of duties in addition to driving their routes and making deliveries to include:

• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading and unloading a truck.
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Performing basic truck maintenance
• Keeping delivery logs to include mileage
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Obtaining customer signatures
