The focus of this role is to ensure our valued auto loan customer accounts are maintained at a level that allows our loan servicing teams to perform the necessary tasks ensuring that, ultimately, the customer receives exceptional customer service using innovative workflow management and communication solutions through all types of media channels.
What is a day in the life at Flagship as a Loan Administration Specialist?


  • Research loan status change notices and process them as appropriate per internal department instructions
  • Reviews and verifies the accuracy of customer refund requests to prepare them for payment
  • Identify, research, and resolve customer account issues identified by other departments using the computerized system in a timely manner
  • Execute loan administrative activities that support Loan Servicing
  • Timely processing of all mail inflow and status tracking logs
  • Accurately calculate account adjustments and understand financial concepts around loan amortization
  • Compile supporting documentation for loan activity to support ad hoc business request
  • Independently identify trends in terms of required tasks and ad hoc requests to improve business processes
  • Ability to communicate process improvements, in the role of subject matter expert

About you:

  • Required: College degree or equivalent job experience
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of experience as accounts receivable clerk
  • Required: 1-2 experience in a similar role
  • Preferred: Shaw loan servicing system and Auto Finance experience
  • Proficient in Internet searchtools, e-mail, and Microsoft Office products (Shaw or similar consumer lending system experience a plus)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with customer auto loan account information
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to achieve and even surpass established goals
  • Ability to display a high level of personal accountability and ownership for work performed
  • Independently driven and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and be challenged by continual professional development
  • Must be punctual and dependable in coming to work
  • Adhere to instructions, processes, procedures, policy, and management direction
  • Must be able to work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines and goals.
