Load Planners Needed
Avon, IN
Pay- $16 to $18 hourly depending on experience
Summary: Load Planner performs duties planning out todays work for loading and unloading inbound and outbound containers for the train.

Load Planner
responsibilities:
- Responsible for verifying inbound units on incoming trains, preplanning outbound units to be loaded on the train
- Coordinating operation efforts to successfully complete loading outbound train
- Planner utilizes the computer system to ensure proper containers are planned for the specific railcars while also planning outbound destinations for said railcar
- Planner additionally provides yarding instructions for train crews, and a sum up of all activity performed by the crew in the yard for the day via email.
- All work performed must be done in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs
- Open availability (24/7/365) available to work nights, weekends, and holidays that fall on your rotation.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Valid Driver’s License
- Other duties as assign
- Documented successful completion of lawful post-offer, pre-employment checks including criminal background check and drug screening.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent standing, walking, balancing while walking on elevated catwalks, bending, and grasping.
- Occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, lifting and the ability to lift more than 50lbs.
