Position Purpose: The Listings Assistant is responsible for processing quality listings. This position works together with the Sales force and other BigIron departments to integrate and complete all details of an auction listing.
Essential Functions:
  • Communicates and supports the Company’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Verifies listings and contracts that are submitted by Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) for quality submissions
    • Reviews and accepts corrections made by ISRs to the listings and lots
    • Corresponds professionally with ISRs & District Managers (DMs) regarding listings
  • Provides support and training for Sales Team using the Listings App and Website
  • Collaborates with the Engineering Team to improve the Sales System
  • Verifies lots for quality photos and descriptions and collaborates with Quality Manager to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Proofreads descriptions for quality, grammar, spelling, and correct categories
  • Publishes listings, lots & featured sellers to the public website
  • Completes data entry for sellers & bidders, including account maintenance, seller commission rates, advertising packages, title fees, etc.
  • Verifies Seller Settlement Statements and Buyer Invoices as necessary
  • Maintains auction data reports & completes data clean-up for import into NetSuite
  • Maintains all status changes and notifications on each listing agreement
  • Maintains electronic and paper filing systems
  • Contributes ideas for continuous improvement and cost savings within the Listings Department
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook and other applications used by the Company
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organizational skills for planning and prioritizing work
  • Data entry skills
  • Customer service skills both internal and external
