Limited X-Ray Technician/ Medical Assistant

Busy Urgent Care/ Family Practice in the City of Corona has immediate opening for part time/ weekend Limited X-Ray Technician/ Medical Assistant.

Medical Assistant Scope of Duties:

• Triage Patients- Such as Vitals, Health History, Current Medication List, Allergies, Chief Complaint
• Injections/ Immunizations (Adult and Children)
• Clinical Procedures such as EKG, Pulse Oximetry, Strep Test, Instant and NIDA/NON NIDA Drug Screens, BAT, and Audiometry
• Assisting Providers with tray setup for Lacerations, I&D’s, Wart Removals and Pelvic Exams.
• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor

Limited X-Ray Technician Scope of Duties:

• Take Radiographic Images- as directed by Physician
• Positioning Patients for images
• Reporting findings to Providers
• Submitting Images to Radiologist
• Maintaining cleanliness and organized work space of X-Ray department
• Maintain X-Ray safety protocols

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Limited X-Ray Certificate
• Medical Assistant Certificate
• 1-2 Years verifiable experience, preferred
• Working knowledge of EHR, Medical Terminology and HIPAA Compliance
• CPR, DOT, Intoximeter Certifications, preferred

Language:

• English (Required)
• Spanish (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
