This is a proposed position and an offer will be contingent on Worley being awarded the contract.

This is an Anchorage based position, working in the Worley or Client office 5 days per week, for approximately 4-6 months with travel to the North Slope and Canada. Once the infield work commences the role would transition to remote/ rotational position, working two weeks on and two weeks off or three weeks on and three weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Job Purpose:

The Lift Plan Coordinator/Project Execution Manager will be the Worley contract representative embedded with the client team to develop project execution plans, lift plans, and coordinating field activity for transportation of heavy haul and lifting scopes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct job/field walk-downs, as required, to establish accurate task/equipment lists.
  • Identify discrete, sequenced tasks with task duration required to execute work safely and efficiently.
  • Develop lift plans for crane and bull-rigging lifts and coordinate to ensure that the goals or objectives for project are accomplished according to time limitations and funding constraints.
  • Produce lift calculations, computer models, and drawings for all lifts.
  • Identify and apply relevant industry codes and client specifications (AISC, ASCE, ACI, IBC).
  • Perform quality control checks, risk assessments and review calculations, models, drawings, and documents.
  • Develop work plans with information necessary to allow efficient scheduling, assignment, contingency planning, and execution of work
  • Assemble and verify work packages which include the work order, piping, and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), pictures, vendor information and other material and documentation as necessary.
  • Ensure all Lifting and Rigging personnel are aware of safe working practices / procedures and are provided with a safe working environment.
  • Effective liaison with any Client and / or Sub-Contractor / Vendor representatives.
  • Deliver a high standard Lifting and Rigging service to the Project, ensuring a consistent and efficient approach is implemented.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Fully conversant with in technical standards, processes, and procedures for assuring the technical Integrity of lifting equipment (e.g., thorough examination, certification and inspection requirements).
  • Demonstrable experience in similar role in Oil and Gas Projects.
  • Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving Project goals whilst maintain high standards in HSEQ at all times.
  • Able to read / understand procedures/ specifications / drawings / etc. in particular those pertaining to rigging & lifting operations.
  • Able to safely deliver all rigging & lifting work scopes to the required/specified Project / industry standards.
  • Able to coach and provide on the job training for all rigging personnel, particularly trainees, to ensure the progression toward the skill sets required to achieve the required Industry competence standard for the specific role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and competing demands simultaneously.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and communicate knowledge of scheduled and performed work.
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence as necessary.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and alternate.
  • Ability to become familiar with the GPB field and facilities.
  • Possess very strong organization and planning skills.
  • Must be a self-starter; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience in delivery of customer service, and the ability to establish and maintain a rapport and strong working relationship with co-workers and client representatives.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to and work with personnel in all levels of an organization.

  • Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, reach through low and high ranges, and exhibit normal balance and coordination.   • Must stand throughout evaluation.
  • Aerobic capacity evaluation via 3-minute step test.
  • Sit and reach and range of motion evaluations.
  • Lift 25 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands.
  • Lift 25 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands.
  • Carry 25 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of five (5) experience and proven competence in the planning, risk assessment and safe implementation of lifting operations during construction activities.
  • Experience working with outside contractors.
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of specific craft work scopes and the ability to plan and schedule work as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver’s license, including ability to be insured by Worley’s auto insurer.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training, if needed.
