Technology Integration Group (TIG) is searching for a LIFECYCLE PROJECT MANAGER. This is a remote role. We invite you to join us!

The Lifecycle Services Division of TIG

As a Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo, Dell Technologies, Microsoft, HP, NetApp, VMware, and Cisco partner, the Lifecycle Services Division manages all aspects of the lifecycle business including large scale device deployments, configuration services as well as device break/fix and warranty repair. Our customers primarily include educational, state, county and municipal governmental entities.

LIFECYCLE PROJECT MANAGER

The LIFECYCLE PROJECT MANAGER works directly with the Depot Supervisor overseeing and supporting LifeCycle clients. Our Lifecycle business is responsible for the managed services of specified customer devices. LifeCycle responsibilities include: project management, device deployment, logistics, resource allocation, budgeting, client communication, device repair, and staff supervision. Individual Lifecycle Branches typically support and deploy between 100,000-300,000 devices annually.

The main responsibility of the LifeCycle Project Manager is to ensure the success of the individual client deployments and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

LIFECYCLE SERVICES PROJECT MANAGER

The Lifecycle Services Project Manager works with the Depot Supervisor supporting our customer's technology devices. The Lifecycle Project Manager is responsible for overall Deployment of technology devices and the day-to-day management of the Deployment process, including: project management, logistics, resource allocation, budgeting, project communication, and staff supervision.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Development of project plans; Execute and oversee project timelines and critical tasks
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Identify and manage risk and potential risk
  • Measure project and team member performance to identify areas for improvement and gained efficiency
  • Track project costs to maintain budget
  • Work with Billing Dept. to ensure project billing consistency and accuracy
  • Provide project communication on a consistent basis (daily, weekly, and monthly) regarding strategy, change management and overall project progress
  • Participate in all project meetings with client’s, vendors, sales, Eng. resource
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff while facilitating and maintaining positive team growth and communication
  • Maintain TIG standards of quality control (verify unit works properly, unit is clean, etc.)
  • Assist with unloading, packing, loading units as needed – some lifting required
  • Monitor and maintain TIG databases
  • Review and comprehend SOW and Scope requirements
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to calls, email, and/or voicemail in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
  • Act as customer’s main point of contact for all project related tasks

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUESTED

  • Project Management skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in project management/coordination
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in customer relations
  • General knowledge of Windows and Chrome OS operating systems
  • General knowledge of computer repair
  • General knowledge of Mass Device Deployment
  • Resource Management skills
  • Financial budgeting skills
  • Proven skills in logistics and related operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports when necessary
  • Ability to positively interface with employees, customers, and vendors
  • General trouble-shooting and resolution skills
  • Ability to work within a team structure in a leadership role
  • Additional tasks as deemed necessary by manager to meet business requirements
  • Project management course work highly encouraged
  • High School Degree/GED required; College degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license (if applicable to position)
  • Chrome OS & Windows OS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google application suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
