Dignity Health Infusion Services is the only program on the Central Coast to offer comprehensive in-home infusion services. Our pharmacists and team of specially-trained nurses work with your doctor to provide care you need, where you are the most comfortable—at home.
What is Infusion Therapy? Home Infusion Therapy involves the administration of medications and nutrition therapy using parenteral and enteral routes. This care is administered to patients in the convenient and comfortable surroundings of comfortable surroundings of their own home and allows them to take a more active role in their own health care. Home Infusion Therapy is not only more cost-effective than inpatient treatment; it eases the stress and anxiety of treatment resulting in better patient outcomes. Available Therapies: Antibiotic Therapy, Antiemetic Therapy, Biotech Therapies (Remicade, Enbrel, Humira etc), Catheter Care and Maintenance, Chemotherapy, Enteral Therapy, Heart Failure Therapies, Hydration, IVIG Therapy, Osteoporosis Therapies, Pain Management, Steroid Therapy & Total Parenteral Nutrition.
Responsibilities
In keeping with the Marian Medical Center healthcare philosophy, the Medical Social Worker is responsible for providing direct casework services to patients and families and for collaboration with appropriate healthcare workers and community agencies. As an employee of Marian Medical Center, adherence to the mission and philosophy of the organization and to the ethical and religious directives for Catholic Health Care facilities will be expected.
