The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our growing community clinics within UICC. This positions main location will be at our Bettendorf Clinic but will travel to other surrounding community clinics to provide support to outreach clinics within a 2-hour radius required. UICC provides a Fleet Car as well as well as paid drive time.

Our team specialize in the care of everyone in the family, in every generation, from birth, for life. Our LPN's develop relationships and get to know our patients and monitor patient care history and deliver personalized, compassionate care every time to each patient. When our patients need care, our providers connect them with the UI Health Care specialist they need.

Duties to include:

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
• In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.

Percent of Time: 100% (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday - Friday; with variable hours 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; No holidays; No weekends; No on-call time.

• Availability to provide support to outreach clinics within the State of Iowa required. Fleet Car provided. Paid drive time.

Salary: $39,312.00 - $58,448 / Hourly: $18.90 - $28.10 (based on years of experience)

Qualifications

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
