Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Oncology Services
Job description
$15,000 Sign On Bonus
Responsible for assisting a physician in the clinical care of all patients to include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of the office.
Education:

Experience:
Six months of related experience
Licenses and Certifications
Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse or Multistate Nursing License
BLS through the American Health Association (CPR) within 30 days of hire.
Qualifications
- Six months previous work experience in a clinical setting required. Medical practice preferred. Clinical rotation time considered.
- Prior working experience of at least six months as an LPN required. Experience in medical practice preferred.
- Must possess the sense of discipline to work by accepted clinical standards.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders, and medical orders to be communicated to patients, hospitals, and/or other physicians.
- Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians.
- Prior experience performing gynecologic ancillary tests preferred.
