Job description
- Serves as a Licensed Practical Nurse for a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- This is a 1099 Contract position
Professional Experience Requirements:
- For LTC - A minimum of one (1) year experience in Long Term Care Facility is required.
Covid Pay is additional +$10
Responsibilities:
- Performs designated job duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse while maintaining the LPN scope of practice.
- Participates in the development of an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Implements the individualized interdisciplinary plan of care according to biophysical, psycho-social, and age-specific needs.
- Monitor patient/resident outcomes and report abnormal findings to the Assistant Clinical Manager/Supervisor.
- Administers specified medications according to established standards and policies.
- Documents patient's status according to the unit-specific procedure.
- Maintains educational requirements as required by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- Documents according to federal and state regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned while maintaining the LPN scope of practice.
Education Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- State Certified LPN License.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- Current BLS certification.
- Negative TB Test.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Covid Card
