Our growing practice is seeking an LPN to join our team. Great opportunity for LPNs with experience in clinical assessment skills or those who want to enhance them. The LPN provides clinical office support to our Neurologists and Advanced Nurse Practitioners in a fast paced environment in our Morristown location and other satellite offices as needed. They will have the ability to multi-task, perform patient care and all administrative duties necessary to deliver quality care to our pediatric patients.

Someone who is friendly, compassionate, and eager to learn will excel in this position. You will be working closely with patient families, physicians, staff, and visitors of our office space. Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills are essential.

Compensation will be based on experience. Availability on Sundays is a plus!

SUMMARY OF RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Opening and starting physician office notes for the day
• Performing and charting a comprehensive intake (medical history, height, weight, head circumference measurements
• Ease with navigating through Electronic Medical Record-EHR (Athena Practice/Centricity)
• Accompanying patient and guardian to exam room
• Checking schedules and organizing patient flow
• Presenting patient stories to the doctor or APN you are assigned to that day.
• Cleans and sterilizes designated exam rooms and equipment after each use
• Ensures exam rooms are fully stocked with medical supplies
• Answers patient calls regarding treatment and coordination of care
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Willingness to travel

QUALIFICATION and EDUCATIONAL AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Licensed Practice Nurse in NJ
- One to three years of related experience and/or training in Neurology or Pediatrics preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Communication skills: ability to effectively present information to patients, physicians, and other employees.
-Computer competency.

- Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred.
