Licensed Practical Nurse - ACU

Open a new chapter in your story of inspired care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with UF Health Physicians, the physician practice group supporting UF Health in Gainesville and Central Florida.
This full-time opportunity will allow you to support our physician and nursing staff with patient care in ambulatory care and physician office settings. This role will allow you to:
- Conduct patient pre-evaluation assessments, including taking and recording vitals and prepping patients for exams and procedures.
- Assist patients and providers during exams and procedures.
- Provide patient care services such as administering medications, processing patient phone calls, and educating patients on health care and treatments.
- Maintain supply inventory for the practice and stocking exam rooms.
- Keep care team members and physicians up to date on pertinent information pertaining to patient’s health status.
- Float to other UFHP practices and departments as needed.
Successful LPN candidates should have a current Florida LPN license and at least one year of ambulatory care or hospital experience. We are willing to train qualified new graduates for this role. We’re seeking a driven candidate who displays exceptional patient service skills, great teamwork, problem-solving skills and an ability to multitask.
LPNs receive hourly pay between $18.32 and $23.78 (commensurate with experience), exceptional comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance and generous PTO to allow you to explore and discover all that Florida has to offer.
