RENAISSANCE CLUBSPORT

Orange County's premier resort style Hotel and Sports Fitness club is seeking to discover engaging ambassadors to join the Spa team. Renaissance ClubSport is a unique concept featuring a 174-room boutique style Four Diamond Hotel, 5,500 sq. ft. Meeting Space, 75k sq. ft. Sports Fitness Club, Day Spa, Restaurant, Deli, Sports Bar and Lounge. The Sports Fitness Club includes an aquatic center featuring a 25 yard lap pool, exercise pool, adult outdoor spa and children's area, which includes a wading pool, children's outdoor spa and Splash Park.

Create a relaxing spa experience for members and guests. Greet each client with a positive and inviting attitude, and assist each one with any requests he/she may have. To handle each client in a friendly and professional manner; make each one feel special. Customize massage services to provide personalized attention, specific to the needs and wants of the individual.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be prepared and arrive at least ten minutes early for each appointment; start and end on time
• Enthusiastically greet and assist each client in preparation for his/her massage
• Perform massage therapy services professionally, catering to the client’s needs
• Keep massage room clean and stocked for the next client or therapist
• Promote spa specials as well as ongoing services, products and gift certificates
• Strive to create loyal customers and ongoing clients; encourage clients to book continuing and future appointments
• Strive to build a referral business
• Offer parting wishes to all clients as they leave the spa
• Communicate frequently with staff who are maintaining the appointment book to stay aware of any changes to the schedule
• Work closely with other spa staff (i.e., estheticians) to coordinate the delivery of spa package services
• Participate in club programs to promote massage and wellness services (i.e., performing chair massages at a health fair, etc.)
• Maintain required certifications and/or licenses
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Spa Manager

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates, with or without reasonable accommodations, must be able to:

• Write, read, speak, hear and see
• Obtain required licenses and certifications
• Stand for prolonged periods
• Perform massage therapy techniques for prolonged periods
• Set-up and take-down light equipment
• Walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Fold and carry stacks of sheets, towels and robes
