Lake Ozark law firm is looking for a Receptionist and Legal Secretary/Paralegal to undertake a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to assist within our general practice firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Providing legal and administrative support for attorneys of the firm
- Preparing pleadings, correspondence and forms
- E-filing court documents
- Managing attorney calendars
- Transcribing and proofreading legal documents
- Reviewing and organizing client files
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
Maintaining client confidence is vital, and keeping client/attorney information confidential.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred, but not required
- At least 1 year of legal experience
- Knowledge of standard office practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient use of email, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong organizational skills, tact, diplomacy, positive can-do attitude
- Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision including analysis and problem solving as needed.
