Job description
The Deerskin Leather Shop at Kitchen Kettle Village is now hiring for a Leather Artisan to use their craft and talent to manufacture Deerskin Leather Brand products. He/she is responsible for sewing, gluing, installing hardware, embossing, and evaluating the finished product for quality control. He/she will work with leather, nylon, and metal materials to create handbags, wallets, jewelry, and other small goods per the design of the Deerskin Leather’s brand.
Some of the essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Manufacturing and fabrication of products
- Communication with owner, buyers, and suppliers
- Interacting with guests on the sales floor, discussing manufacturing process, creating monogrammed products, and providing an exceptional shopping experience
- Relating repairs, and special orders to Deerskin Leather team and Inventory team.
- Ensure inventory needs are being met.
