An established, privately held exploration and production company is seeking an experienced Lease Operator/Pumper to help support the field operations of its properties located in South Texas.

Role: Lease Operator/Pumper

Location: South Texas

Compensation: Competitive Compensation Package

Day-to-Day:

• Track, manage, and optimize oil & gas wells
• Proactively monitor production output daily to increase and stabilize well performance
• Identify and troubleshoot well failures and perform repairs as needed
• Provide field supervision and well control for workovers, recompletions, and drilling activities
• Inspect lease sites, ensure they are clean and maintained, and check for spills and fluid leaks
• Supervise and audit gauges/tests performed by purchasers and water haulers
• Prepare daily production and well service reports
• Accurately report all regulatory items on a daily basis

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong understanding of oil & gas wells and production facilities
• Strong understanding of rod pumps and plungers
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Ability to manage well repairs and well services, including workovers
• High proficiency in power tools and manual mechanic tools
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office applications

• 8 hour shift
