Description:

Worldwide Golf Enterprises, one of the leaders in the retail golf industry, is looking for a driven Lead UX/UI Designer to facilitate design needs across multiple platforms. This position is an integral part of the team and will work cross-functionally with members in the Digital Marketing Department to ensure that design needs are being met or exceeded.

As a Lead UX Designer, you will lead design efforts to tackle complex problems and produce creative solutions for our users.
In this role, you will be joining the Platform product group in our Ecommerce department. This team creates the core experiences and building blocks that make up our platform-wide user experience and are the stewards for development of shared standards and components.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the UX process and workflow, and work closely with a cross-functional team to build and ship designs.
• Leverage a human-centered design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and user experience.
• Produce high-quality creative solutions to complex problems based on research and goals.
• Create clear user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for user interfaces.
• Plan and lead design sessions to generate ideas or feedback both remote and in-person.
• Work at both a detailed design level and a strategic level to influence the product roadmap.
• Research customers, competitors, and products.
• Design for accessibility standards.
• Design content that is optimized for SEO and conversions
• Work closely with product managers and marketing to maximize customer success.

Desired skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 4+ years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end user experience processes and workflows, including user journeys, wireframing, prototyping.
• Exceptional use of design artifacts to effectively build alignment, communicate ideas, and deliver an experience.
• Strong understanding of interaction patterns, accessibility, and best practices for user interface design.
• The ability to articulate your design process, design decisions, and coach others on product design thinking.
• Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different SaaS platforms.
• Experience with digital media, eCommerce, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Working knowledge of UX design principles, task analysis, information architecture.
