The Lead Teller / Banking position earns a competitive wage of $20.00 to $22.00/hour, depending on experience. The Lead Teller / Banking assists members with financial transactions, to include receiving and paying out cash and other negotiable instruments. Provides guidance and support to teller staff. Manages and controls vault and ATM. Cultivates and retains member accounts by determining the nature and extent of each member's financial service needs and makes them aware of additional services and accounts available; gives each member the best possible service; actively sells and promotes the Credit Union's full line of investments and financial services in person, over the phone, and in writing.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum one year of related banking experience, cash handling, and cross-selling/sales experience. They must also have excellent communication skills with the ability to assist, coordinate, and direct others, work on computers, good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred. The Lead Teller / Banking must be available to work Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm; Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm; Saturday (rotating) 8:45am to 1:30pm (40 hours per week).
