Position Summary
This is a fast-paced, goal-oriented collection call center position.
Pay Rate: $18.50 an hr + Monthly Bonus Potential
Bilingual: $1.00 more per hour
Eligible for benefits first day and paid training!
Schedule:
Mid shift 10:30am-7:00pm; Monday – Friday
Occasional Saturday shift from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide training and development to Recovery Specialists through one on one coaching, phone monitoring and audit trail reviews to improve individual performance
- Handle escalated customer calls/questions/complaints
- Contribute to achievement of departmental goals by providing collection support
- Assist Supervisor in leading and communicating change through proper communication methods and a positive attitude
- Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures
- Participate on departmental and company project teams as assigned
Qualifications (years of experience, education, specific systems and credentials needed):
Required
- 2+ years Collection/Call Center experience
- Demonstrated skills in collection practices and the achievement of goals
- Exemplify the company’s core values
- Strong understanding of federal regulations related to credit and collections
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Listening and negotiation skills
- Professional and diplomatic
- Maintains a commitment to achieving goals
- Demonstrates an openness to change
- Ability to multi-task and quickly move from one function to another
