We are seeking an imaginative, skillful, and versatile Lead Level Designer to join our team in Carlsbad, California. What you’ll be doing…

• Manage a team of Designers responsible for crafting multiplayer level content for the future of Call of Duty Warzone
• Create and pitch high level ideas, collaborating with other leads and producers on the implementation of cross discipline mechanics and level construction
• Work closely with Production in helping to build development schedules and managing task sign-off for Design
• Provide mentorship and leadership to the design team, reviewing in-progress design work, providing regular feedback, as well as conducting performance reviews and regular employee 1:1’s
• Review and critique in-progress content with our other studio and external partners

To succeed you must have…

• 8+ years of game design experience, having shipped at least one AAA title as a Lead or Senior Designer on a multiplayer project
• A comprehensive understanding of the production process, from paper top-down maps to 3D geo construction
• Experience with scripting languages and tools for prototyping gameplay experiences and debugging technical issues

We’d love it if you also have…

• Experience crafting gameplay experiences for Battle Royale, FPS, Action, or Co-op games
• Familiarity with Call of Duty multiplayer and Warzone content
