Walker Methodist Highview Hills seeks a Lead Housekeeper to assist in the supervision of Housekeeping staff in general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and pleasant physical environment in the community.

Major Position Accountabilities:

• Responsible to assist in the supervision of the Housekeeping Department staff.
• Train staff in general housekeeping duties.
• Routinely cleans daily assigned areas, which may include resident rooms, corridors, dining rooms, public restrooms, utility rooms, offices, conference rooms, stairwells, elevators, entrances according to community procedures.
• Responsible for cleaning resident equipment such as beds, floor mats, wheelchairs, walkers, and commodes as scheduled.
• Responsible for making resident beds as scheduled following community procedures.
• Ensure chemicals are stored and locked per regulations.
• Monitor for broken equipment and write work orders when noted.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Experience: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
