Our Award-winning client seeks a Lead Gameplay Engineer with outstanding C++ skills who can really help us build a new world-class IP from concept to market!

Responsibilities:
- Start with a player-first mentality, embedding an obsessive drive to know, understand, and serve the players who are engaged with the game.
- Be an active participant and driver in the design of gameplay systems.
- Evaluate systems to determine execution plans and propose alternatives if necessary.
- Design and implement gameplay systems.
- Extend the game engine to support the needs of the game vision and design.
- Create super low-latency, highly responsive game systems.
- Manage and mentor the gameplay engineering staff.
- Have a cross platform mindset up front and ensure that the features of the game are capable of supporting an experience that can work seamlessly on different systems and form factors.
- Ensure that gameplay engineering has a Live product mindset, capable of regular updates and malleable to key changes if necessary.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in programming/engineering development.
- Strong C/C++ development skills.
- Several shipped titles as Gameplay Engineer.
- Experienced in developing and implementing key gameplay systems.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area.
- Work well with designers and artists to implement the vision of the game.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Autonomous, problem-solving, and open-minded attitude.
