Job description
Lead Director, Project Program Management, is an individual contributor role for Aetna Group Retiree Solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of strategic project and program management expertise to support Group Retiree Solutions strategies and innovation to meet client expectations.
Accountable to set and drive strategies for highly complex and broad reaching programs or initiatives collaborating with executives and their teams across the CVS Health Enterprise
Provides strategic oversight, direction, and execution of programs and processes to optimize operational efficiency and service improvement efforts including but not limited to
o CMS Star rating initiatives
o Group Medicare Advantage and/or Part D:
customer care programs
case management
clinical and financial reporting
client implementation
RFP management
Account service, reporting, and renewal workflows
o Refinement of our MA / MAPD and PD implementation process
Collaborate with business partners in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical and operational program advancement opportunities and other programs that may enhance servicing to members enrolled in group Medicare.
Drive change by influencing others to see the value in project plan, secure buy-in and resources needed to improve performance results, organization effectiveness, quality, or service.
Identifies gaps in processes or organization and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions. Directs accountability for impact to GRS clients - Ensures accurate prioritization of key projects/programs within purview.
Has ultimate accountability for project management services being delivered including organizations budget and/or financial implications.
Develop, lead, and manage projects, customer expectations and business priorities to achieve replicable, executable programs and solutions that align with GRS strategic direction and financial goals.
Develop reporting metrics or dashboard for monitoring, tracking project progress, milestone achievement and outcomes.
Develop effective communication strategy for reporting project status cross divisionally and to executive leadership.
Ensures the end state of projects and/or business operations meets business objective(s), client expectations, and that all deliverables and due dates are met
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 100,000
Maximum: 227,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
7-10 years managed care / health insurance industry experience
Multiple years’ proven experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes.
Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs
Experience managing large budgets
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and external clients
Proven ability to influence cross divisionally
Preferred Qualifications
Medicare experience
Group Retiree experience
Supervisory experience
