Park West is seeking to hire Landscape Construction Leadman.

Responsible for efficiently completing construction landscape installation jobs, promoting job work-site safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibiting pride and quality workmanship.

Job Duties

• Read landscape plans
• Some general skills in equipment operation and maintenance
• General knowledge of small power tools, i.e., wacker, power augers, generators, and compressors.
• Understand dig alert protocols
• General knowledge of irrigation materials and layout of systems from the interpretation of plans.
• General knowledge of ornamental trees and shrubs
• Skill in reading standard measurements and engineers measurements
• Follow instructions accurately.
• General job site safety knowledge.

Requirements

• 2-year minimum previous residential and/or commercial landscape construction experience.
• Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented.
• Must be professional in appearance and actions.
• Excellent time management skills; available for seasonal long hours, weekends, and although rare, potential holidays.
• Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels.

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Landscape Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
• Reading Landscape Construction Blueprints: 2 years (Preferred)
• New Irrigation Installs: 2 years (Preferred)
• General knowledge of ornamental trees and shrubs: 2 years (Preferred)
• Understand dig alert protocols: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
