Job description

Duties:

• A laboratory technician is responsible for supporting scientists and management in the maintenance of the lab while ensuring that safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to at all times
• Fast-paced, high-throughput human sample handling/testing environment
• Follows standard operating procedures to evaluate data against predetermined quality criteria using proprietary software tools
• Utilize analytical tools (Excel, PowerBI, LIMS, etc.) to evaluate and identify trends in data sets
• Identify and report basic process issues to the team
• Supports the various teams of the Specimen Management Center and is a liaison between Specimen Management and others departments
• Responsible for freezer space utilization
• Monitor daily capacity of drawers and freezers, and consolidate samples when needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Biology or Chemistry or scientific field desired
• Previous lab experience
• Microsoft Office Experience
• Fast paced Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
