Job description

Under general direction of the Lead Technician performs analysis as required to evaluate all finished products and in-process samples. Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as necessary. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform tests on finished products according to established procedures.
Review analysis results and grade all finished lots when testing is complete.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
Enter all necessary data into the laboratory database system.
Retain all finished samples and maintain retain storage in orderly condition.
Train laboratory personnel, as required.
Maintain clean and orderly workstations.
Report and mitigate all unsafe behaviors.
Identify and understand properties and hazards of chemicals.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Life Sciences degree or significant applicable lab experience.Chemistry degree a significant plus
Demonstrates good stewardship skills (Environmental, Health, and Safety).
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to work rotating shift and overtime, as needed
Ability to multi-task, must be a quick learner and adapt to change
