Key Responsibilities:

• Operates Autoclave, labware washer and hand washes labware per department’s protocols.
• Help prepare equipment and work on projects as needed
• Maintain records and data as needed
• Follow guidelines and comply with all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations
• Assist with support duties such as maintaining the routine cleaning schedule, organization of inventory, and lab equipment preparation
• Prepares labware to ensure a supply of clean labware is available
• Maintain the lab by washing dishware, as well as cleaning and maintaining the lab and its equipment
• Work closely with the lab staff to work on daily production needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent or up to 1 year of laboratory/related experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must work well both independently and in a group setting
• Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Must have the ability to follow work instructions and priorities as determined by a supervisor or lead
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must demonstrate flexibility to work in an ever-changing environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
