Pyramid Healthcare in Gibsonia is seeking experienced Kitchen Manager to join our amazing team.
Pyramid Ridgeview is an Inpatient, Residential treatment center for young adult males with Substance Use Disorders. - Dietary Supervisor train new hire Dietary Workers and delegating tasks.
- Lead weekly meetings with Dietary Workers and provide ongoing development and training.
- Train Dietary Workers on food deliveries.
- Review team performance and provide feedback and suggestions during weekly team meetings.
- Observe patient food intake and report progress and dietary problems to dietician.
- Attend and actively participate in staff and Operations meetings and trainings.
- Prepare a major meal, following recipes and determining group food quantities.
- Supervise food production or service or assist dietitians or nutritionists in food service supervision or planning.
- Assist dietician in food selection, preparation, or menu planning, based upon nutritional needs and established guidelines.
- Analyze menus or recipes, standardize recipes, or test new product
- Staff schedule for all kitchen staff employees.
- Input Meal count sheets on smart sheet daily.
- Ensure maintenance of a clean and sanitized kitchen in compliance with all health codes.
- Ensure consistent monitoring of temperatures on all equipment.
- Ensure menus are followed and control food portions.
- Maintain organization in all storage areas.
- Take weekly inventory and place food orders for Corporate Food Service submission.
- Work with Corporate Food Service on distributing the food surveys.
- Other duties as deemed necessary.
Technical Competencies: Good Hygiene. Cleanliness of the kitchen. Portion control. Knowledge of CARF regulations.
Physical Demands: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk & hear. The employee is often required to sit or stand for long periods of time, reach, bend, & move about the facility. Normal, corrective vision range ability to see color & to distinguish letters, numbers, & symbols. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry fifty (50) pounds.
Education, Experience: SERV SAFE TRAINING within one year of hire date. Cooking experience.
