Job Description Summary

Hana Group North America is looking for a motivated, highly organized individual to join our rapidly expanding team! This individual would be responsible for managing and directing production activities within our facility located in (City). The Central Kitchen General Manager would be responsible for coordinating daily production, delivery times, product quality, equipment maintenance, and overseeing personnel to maximize productivity at the facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Creating a culture that promotes Food Safety and health standards as a top priority.

· Ability to monitor and update all facility processes and procedures.

· Ability to perform food-safety related practices including keeping accurate logs.

· Knowledge and experience implementing company policies, such as written corrective actions, discipline warnings, performance reviews, as well as terminations of employees.

· Responsible for development, training and coaching of supervisors and staff, goal setting, and providing performance feedback on a regular basis.

· Responsible for arranging vendor equipment repairs and maintenance.

· Communicating among departments (e.g. Warehouse locations, Purchasing, and retail operations managers) of any of issues or changes in the operation.

· The Production Supervisor will conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff per Company guidance or on an as needed basis.

· Complete all required documentations such as new hire paperwork, FMLA, and Worker’s compensation including OSHA in order to submit to respective departments.

· Has knowledge of OSHA, FDA, USDA regulations.

Qualifications

· Minimum two years of supervisory experience working in manufacturing, kitchen management, or food production facility.

· Excellent communication skills- both oral and written; willingness to lead a team and work as part of a team.

· Ability to prioritize efficiently and delegate responsibilities.

· Ability to train others and give positive/critical feedback to employees.

· Effective time management skills, strong organizational skills, and available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the business.
