Kitchen Manager– High-Volume Restaurant
Salary: $75000 + bonus + benefits + PTO
Location: New York, New York
About the Role:
This group has multiple locations throughout the East Coast, with more to open next year. They are extremely stable and put out high quality Italian food in a really fun and upbeat setting. They are big on developing people form within their own team, which is why they have a brand new opening for a talented Kitchen Manager to join their team.
- Manage the culinary operations in a busy kitchen
- Nurture relationships with vendors to get the best turnaround times for procurement
- Build outstanding teams of professionals that work cohesively across the board
- Ensure standards are met and enforced
- Implement and maintains routine cleaning procedures
- Must be knowledgeable of Department of Health regulations and standards
- Ensure team member practices comply with standards
- Prior experience in a corporate restaurant preferred
- Comes from a very high-volume dining experience
- Excellent proven career stability with 2 + years in prior roles
- Not afraid to take the lead in new projects
- Be highly adaptive, charismatic, and be receptive to the opinions of your guests
- Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
