$15.85 to $19.78 per hour

Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to drive the van and provide transportation to seniors and help provide healthy, nutritious meals to senior program participants. The primary responsibilities of the Kitchen Aide are to serve food to participants, set up tables, clean tables, wash dishes, sweep and mop floors.
Qualifications:
- Current California Food Handler Card strongly preferred.
- Must possess a valid CA Driver License and insurable driving record.
- Ability to work effectively and courteously with program participants.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- Able to support the weight of others who require assistance in standing.
- Must be able to bend, climb stairs, walk and/or sit.
- Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Must be able to observe policies, rules and client confidentiality.
- Ability to inventory and organize supplies, assess what is needed, then order and restock.
- Must be CPR certified or attend a SCIHP CPR training to become certified.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background investigation.
- Must have proof of completed COVID vaccinations and booster.
Special Qualifications: Must be sensitive to the needs of the Native American Community, which includes their culture, traditions, and background.
