Radiant Church is passionate about multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches. These are exciting times to join the team. We are looking for a Radiant Kid’s Director at our Ankeny location who is a dynamic leader and is passionate about introducing kids to Jesus by partnering with parents. They must have a magnetic personality that communicates well with our parents and kids. At Radiant Kids, it is safe, fun, and they will learn about Jesus.

• Must have a growing relationship with Christ that is evident in all areas of your life
• Have a positive, welcoming, friendly, and joyful “can-do” attitude
• Responsible for all aspects of the Kids Ministry including scheduling, communication, and team-leading
• Works well with management team and Lead Pastor to assure kids experience is effective
• Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate and communicate with people at all levels
• Be self-motivated, organized, and reliable
• Builds teams, recruits volunteers, and equips volunteers to succeed.
• Have some children’s ministry experience (or education)
• Able to attend staff meetings
• Able to lift, hold infants and young children. Able to Kneel and sit on floor with children, but able to move, dance, and play large motor skill games with children
• Have experience managing volunteers. This role requires a person who relates well with people of different ages and backgrounds
• Expected to begin attending Radiant Church and be involved in a small group
• Lives in the Greater Des Moines area
• The position is part-time 15 hours/week including staff meetings and Sunday services.
• Strives for excellence in all aspects of Radiant Kids
• We utilize Orange Curriculum and video teaching.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10,000.00 - $13,000.00 per year
