We are currently hiring for 2023! Therefore, most of our instructor positions will not start until January 2023.

We are actively looking to hire the BEST enrichment instructors to teach kids one or more of the following:

• Chess
• LEGO
• Magic
• Origami
• Speech & Debate

EXPERIENCE

• Applicants must have some experience working with children (1 year required).
• If you are interested in teaching but have no prior experience, we encourage you to still apply. We offer training!

WORK HOURS

• Monday to Friday, during the school day and after school, from 1 to 4 hours per day. Instructors can work a few days to five days a week.
• Hours may vary any time between 1 pm to 6 pm.

WORK LOCATIONS

• This position requires commuting to different school sites!
• Public, private, charter, and home schools throughout Orange County, including Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Orange, and San Clemente.

HOURLY RATE

• $23.00/hour.
• One-hour class sessions but will be paid for 1.5 hours (paid an extra 15 minutes before and after each class).
• We offer competitive pay! There are always opportunities for raises and bonuses as an enrichment instructor.

PAID MILEAGE

• Strategic Kids pays daily rates for mileage of $10 to $20, based on the distance driving ($10 daily, or $15 if drive is 15+ miles from home to school, or $20 if drive is 20+ miles from home to school).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must do live scan fingerprinting and CPR certification (both paid by Strategic Kids) and be cleared before working.
