Are you an enthusiastic, hardworking pet lover who can work independently and with a team?

As a kennel assistant at Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center, you will:

• Clean cages and our indoor aviary
• Properly handle patients as directed
• Walk dogs in fenced, outdoor courtyard and clean up after them
• Keep up with laundry
• Clean and stock exam rooms
• Provide tender loving care to all patients

To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Enjoy working individually and as a team with a great work ethic
• Greet clients in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
• Provide impeccable pet care
• Excel at communication skills
• Have excellent pet handling skills
• Possess ability to multi-task

Requirements:

• Strong references
• Avimark software experience is a plus
• Weekends, holidays and evenings will be required

Experience:

• kennel: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
