Job description

Working as a kennel assistant full time or part time. The job requires you to be on your feet 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to control large breed dogs on a leash. The job involves walking, handling, feeding, medicating pets - dogs and cats. Must be able to fill-in at the front desk when needed by answering phones, talking with customers, working our computer system, and receiving payments when needed. All employees are expected to be cross trained throughout all jobs in the kennel. Must be an outgoing personality that loves to interact with pets throughout the day. We offer daycare so must want to entertain and play with dogs while outside. Cleaning is also part of the job - we clean multiple times a day using a variety of products. The right employee must be able to work throughout the week, weekends and holidays. The right candidate must have open availiblity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
