ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The essential functions of this position are to develop the next generation of Radar and Image Processing tools for our data products. Responsible for developing and deploying processing and visualization tools for radar cross section and antenna pattern data.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science with 1-3 years of professional and/or academic experience working with C++/C and Matlab. Must possess an active COMPTIA Security+ Certification, or ability to acquire one within one year of the start of employment. Must be capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Other desired experience includes experience creating flexible structures for multi-dimensional complex data desired; data visualization experience; and experience with Windows 10/11 Graphical User Interface Design. A strong desire to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities is also preferred.

GENERAL DUTIES: Duties include the following: programming well-designed, testable, and efficient code; working with the engineering team to capture requirements and produce specifications; documenting design processes, including development, tests, analytics, and troubleshooting; executing rapid development cycles in an active test environment; and collaborating cross-functionally with a data scientist, engineers, customers, and technicians to achieve elegant and efficient processing flow solutions. Must be hands-on and meticulous in solving tough problems. The candidate should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development.

OTHER DUTIES: Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary to support contract/mission support requirements in job-related areas.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Top Secret security clearance. Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one within one year of start of employment. Must possess a valid drivers’ license. All selected candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation and drug test as a condition of placement into this position. Supports E-OMS operational objectives; observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies. Supports Process Improvement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Duties are normally performed in an office environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and requires some lifting or moving of objects.
