Peraton is seeking a junior-level
Software
Developer to support our Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) Program contract at the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) facility in San Diego, CA.
As the contractor on the IBS task order, Peraton is responsible is supporting an integrated theater-tailored information and intelligence dissemination system, with global connectivity, using a standardized broadcast data format and a single receiver family. IBS is fully interoperable with current and programmed tactical and strategic warfare systems
Responsibilities may include:
Systems requirements development and allocation- Managing software specifications
- Developing code in JAVA with applicable requirements documentation
- Upgrading operating systems and software patches, troubleshoot and monitoring.
- Provide time critical software and support for 24/7 mission operations.
- As needed, the selected candidate shall assist with software application development and web-based middleware.
Required Qualifications:
- BS 0-2 Years or HS 6-8
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related technical field
- Java development experience, JavaFX, JUnit testing, XML/XSL, HTML, Maven.
- Must be able to obtain final SECRET Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required
- Basic experience with system installation/configuration and/or basic programming skills
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with system troubleshooting and performance issues
- Working in a DOD environment
- Prior US Military experience is a plus

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $40,000 Salary Mid: $80,000 Salary Maximum: $100,000 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
