The Junior Project Manager will be responsible to work as part of a regional team on marine geophysical projects, managing offshore site investigations, data analysis/interpretation and geotechnical engineering analyses, and technical reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of projects from award to completion including written documentation while maintaining a close working relationship with the Project Manager;
- Develop project documentation including project execution plans;
- Support the development of a positive safety culture;
- Implement the company's QHSE Management Systems on each project;
- Assist in the communication with clients and internal stakeholders;
- Provide written briefing to project team; attend mobilization for vessel briefing if appropriate;
- Maintain daily contact and coordinate with project field teams;
- Assist the Project Manager with monitoring project budgets, schedules, and performance against KPIs;
Job Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Possess current driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Possess the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel
- Possess a degree in an engineering or sciences discipline, project management,
- Proficient use of Office 365 software, particularly Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project;
- Capable of generating a safe and quality-based culture within the offshore and onshore team;
- Working knowledge of geophysical marine site characterization, offshore renewable or oil, and gas industry is preferred
- Experience in a project delivery environment is preferred.
