  • Scope of work includes, but it’s not limited among others to:
  • Working under the direction of the Design Director, you will be accountable for project management from design concept to completion.
  • Guide, support, coordinate, and manage team and designers' duties to ensure accurate preparation of project construction documents. Coordination and good communication with consultants, vendors, contractors, and team members.
  • Follow up with clients after the designer’s initial consultation and collect all necessary information to begin the design process as per their budget and design scope.
  • The assistant project manager is in charge of opening the client's file and updating it daily with the information of the vendors, drawings, purchases, clients' notes, and everything related to the project.
  • Keeping clients up to date and informed about each and every phase of the design process.
  • Daily communication with the drafting team to ensure accuracy of all requested drawings and deadlines.
  • Draft elevations and details as needed to resolve issues and packages revision prior to submit docs to the architecture team.
  • Job Site Visit and Construction Meetings.
  • Responsible for prepare, organize and review project presentations.
  • Must be present at meetings with the clients, in order to assist and support the designer in the presentation of the design concept as to changes, modifications, details, suggestions, or special requests from the clients or designer.
  • Oversee the selection of materials, plumbing, and appliances for the individual projects based on the design and concept plans.
  • Obtain specs, pricing, and quotes for items if needed.
  • Meeting with vendors to learn about new product offerings to share with the Design Team.
  • Any and all other functions and duties as may be needed or required by the project or designer.
  • Qualifications:
  • - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design, or a similar field.
  • Knowledge and Experience - 5+ years of Design experience required
  • Experience in Job Site Management is a must.
  • Must have familiarity with vendors and products in the design industry.
  • AutoCAD expertise required
  • 3DMax & Sketch-up a must
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to multi-task with time management skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proven ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients.
  • Ability to multi-task and be adaptable to ever-changing demands
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve creatively and effectively
  • Must have a car with a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and insurance
  • Pro-active, positive attitude with eagerness to grow professionally and work within a small team
  • We are a high-end boutique and well-known design firm specializing in residential design
  • Our projects consist of new construction, entire home remodels, and home design.
  • Our clients expect a level of service that goes above and beyond the standard market
  • While many days will be on a 9-5 schedule, certain stages of the project will require working after hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • It is critical for the applicant to understand this and know that during slower times, the schedule will be more flexible.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
