The Junior Graphic Designer will aid the Creative Services team in the design and development of sales and marketing materials for Fenway Sports Management and all of the prospective sponsorship partners and consulting clients of the Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins, Liverpool Football Club, RFK Racing, FSM Consulting and other FSM properties. Additionally, provide support in design and creative direction for FSM events, including the upcoming Fenway Bowl.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design graphic elements and materials requested by all FSM departments including Sales, Consulting and Events, Experiences and Special Events
  • Develop presentations based on sales outlines under the direction of the Graphic Design staff using Microsoft PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ensure all FSM presentation materials are updated frequently and the highest quality standards are maintained from a technological/design standpoint.
  • Assist Graphic Design staff to maintain imagery and asset library
  • Create renderings and mockups of prospective concepts using Adobe Creative Suite for purposes of bringing a higher level of visual storytelling to presentations

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Studying/studied graphic design, sports marketing, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint required along with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience with After Effects and animation a plus
  • Must be able to handle several projects at once, with the ability to pivot direction and digest feedback quickly
  • Must be willing to be a part of a team and operate under the direction of Graphic Design staff
  • Well-organized with a strong work ethic and a desire and willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated team player that has the ability to focus on individual and team goals
  • Must be able to work in the FSM office 4 days a week.
  • This position is a 1-year term in length and calls for approximately 32 hours a week.
