Jr. Recruiter Job Description:
HeartShare is looking for a dynamic individual with an enthusiastic and energetic spirit to join the Human Resources Recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sourcing & On-Boarding and a willingness to expand their knowledge within other areas of Human Resources.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Source and identify highly competitive candidates for key roles.
- Use passive and direct sourcing techniques and seek new methods and innovative solutions to identify and attract prospective candidates and build pipelines.
- Develop long-term relationships with potential candidates and update our internal applicant tracking system and Referral tracking system to document and track data.
- Assist with onboarding & Clearance (SCR, EP Staff, Justice Center etc.) And track return
- Manage background check and reference process for all candidates.
- Actively follow up and audit all employee files to ensure that all are complete and compliant based on state and agency policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
- BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or business-related field of study preferred
- Prior Human Resources work/internship experience or 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, respect and communicate with all levels.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience onboarding for social services, non-profit or developmental disabilities organizations a strong plus.
- Results-oriented, strong communicator, strong work ethic
- Prior experience with ATS (PAYCOM, Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Handshake
- High energy, team player with a sense of humor.
