Job Title: Jr. Data Analyst
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Outreach
Position Summary: Responsible for the development and production of regularly scheduled ad hoc data extracts and reports to improve the effectiveness of Sales and Marketing programs across all channels and geographies. Additionally support Operations through data to improve program delivery.
Position Responsibilities
- Assess the information needs of the users and develop ad-hoc and production reports to meet those needs
- Responsible for the accuracy of the data in and across elements, within SQL reports and proprietary databases and in downstream data warehouses and reports
- Champion the quality and integrity of data collected for decision making and work with the other areas of the organization to ensure consistent reporting of information.
- Analyze and makes recommendations for improved data quality and reporting system automation.
- Provide user education of reports and helps ensure access to data with the goal of reduced reliance, over time, on technical specialists in order to obtain data.
- Analyze report data and provide a narrative to the reports, highlighting strengths, weakness and opportunity
- Ensure all reported data and information are consistent, relevant and timely.
- Provide feedback to relevant parties on system and data improvements
- Troubleshoot Reporting tool problems and tunes for performance
- Create reports, report templates, and analytic environments as is necessary to satisfy requirements
- Responsible for handling and managing the workflow of IMG Academy’s sales process starting from lead generation
- Own the lead journey from capture through conversion and report on it. Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate to relevant stakeholders
- Assist in defining and implementing data governance
- Provide feedback to relevant parties on system and data improvements
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a reports developer/analyst
- Skilled in the use of data extraction, reporting tools and financial/statistical analytics
- Experience using matrix, graphs, drill thru, drill down parameters in SSRS
- Excellent data analyst skills, problem solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with creating reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to work with multiple systems
- Ability to think creatively
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
