Job Title: Journeyman Mulitcraft

Job Reports To: Maintenance Manager

Department: Manufacturing

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Location: East Canton

Starting Pay: $25.60/Hr plus full benefits package (Medical, Dental, 401K, Life Insurance)

Position Summary: The Journeyman will be responsible for plant maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems of industrial machinery and equipment.

The Current Team: This role will be responsible for interacting with all plant personnel and from time to time be required to come into work during off hours to support the plant operations as necessary.

Essential Functions:

* Install main electrical power supply wiring and conduit for equipment as directed by management. This will include, but is not limited to presses, conveyors, air handlers, mixers, hydraulic components, etc.

* Trouble shoot and repair conveyors, mixers, presses, and other plant equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Rebuild pumps and gearboxes.

* Operate machinery such as forklift, skidsteer, Scissor Lift, boom lift, cranes

* Ensure all safety policies are followed at all times.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Other Attributes:

* Journeyman Card required - Electrician, Millwright, Machine Repair journeyman cards will be accepted.

* Troubleshoot daily maintenance/electrical-mechanical issues and resolve

* Ability to lift 50 lbs

* Ability to carry tool bag continually to work station as required

* Ability to read blue prints and schematics

* Ability to climb ladders daily and work in tight situations

* Demonstrate attention to detail

* Ability to complete all electrical functions according to code

* Good mechanical aptitude

* Ability to weld is a plus
