Functional Speech Therapy-Therapy that is FUN and Functional!

Our incredible and dedicated team is growing at FUNctional Speech Therapy! We are looking for a passionate and energetic speech language pathologist to join us in providing exceptional services to our pediatric clients and their families. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday 8:30-6 pm. Speech therapy services are held in our brand new office located in Fox River Grove, client's home, or day care. We are also open to hire a part-time employee with full flexible schedule.

At FUNctional Speech Therapy we embrace collaboration and diversity as it creates a vibrant work environment and inspires exceptional clinical services. We provide speech therapy services to children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia, speech sounds disorders, and more. In addition, we provide feeding therapy using the SOS feeding approach, PROMPT, and OPT treatments to our clients.

We also work with children who communicate using Augmentative Alternative Communication devices. We make a difference everyday servicing our clients and helping them reach their full potential. Experience working with ASD population and using AAC devices is a plus.

Clinical fellows are welcome to apply and will be supervised, trained, and supported by an experienced SLP supervisor.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree from ASHA accredited program

IDFPR license

Early Intervention license or willingness to be credentialed
