As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for various accounting activities, including performing general ledger account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, reconcile bank statements, customer receivables and vendor payables, assist with month-end financial reporting, conduct variance analyses, and create various other reports. You will be collaborating closely with the operating departments throughout the company, finance staff, and CFO.

Main Responsibilities:

— Perform all general ledger accounting functions, through the monthly closing and preparation of operating statements for each aircraft.

— Daily bank reconciliations for 5 accounts.

— Assist with creating detailed reports and review of monthly billing documentation to aircraft owners.

— Extract and balance data from Concur for posting into Great Plains and Access database.

— Create and process journal entries in the general ledger system.

— Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.

— Assist with month-end financial reporting.

— Conduct periodic reviews of fixed assets.

— Assist with preparation of FET return and reconcile balances to general ledger.

— Continuously review existing financial processes to identify and recommend improvements.

— Prepare ad hoc reports and perform other duties as assigned.

— Assists in the development and enforcement of strong internal controls.

— Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

— Five years or more of corporate accounting experience.

— Strong oral and written English communication skills.

— Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.

— Ability to work autonomously and in a full remote environment.

— Well organized, detail oriented, and accurate.

— Strong data and reconciliation skills.

— Intermediate or higher Excel skills.
